Hi there, I'm Alex! I'm a lifelong learner who's always eager to improve my instrument - and I'm excited to help you do the same! I truly believe that everyone has their own unique musical path, and my goal is to equip you with the confidence to shine on your own instrument while having a blast. 

 

I'm a singer, actor, director, and teacher all across Grand Rapids. In addition to being an instructor here at GRVC, you can find me teaching musical theater at the Grand Rapids Civic Theater, directing with the Girls' Choral Academy, and performing with VoxGR.

Outside of music, I'm a big fan of video games, Magic the Gathering, and spending quality time with my wife Rachel and our two cats. I'm also a huge game show enthusiast, going as far as competing on Wheel of Fortune in 2024!
